WSOP Preregistration Begins

Pre-registration for the 2007 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is underway. The WSOP will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas from June 1 – July 17, 2007. You can register online at http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com until two weeks prior to the start of your desired event. After that point, you have to register in person at the hotel (3700 W. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas).
Players can pay for their registrations with cash, cashier’s checks and wire transfer. Third-party registrations are only accepted from WSOP approved sponsors. No third-party registrations will be accepted from online gaming sites conducting business with U.S. residents. (See the rules and regulations for more information on this.)
This year, the player-apparel policy will be more liberal. According to the official press release, the WSOP will “allow tournament entrants to wear apparel with multiple logos and patches.”
