WSOP Main Event - Day 1D Notable Happenings So Far

Vanessa Selbst, who placed seventh in the $2,000 NLHE tournament on July 3rd and won over 100,000 for that effort, is doing quite well in the Main Event. She's currently 11th in chips at the Main Event. Kathy Liebert has a healthy 11,200 in chips for 17th place and Susie Isaacs is in 24th with 10,800. Freddy Deeb, Joe Awada, who has a bracelet in 7 card stud, Joe Hachem and Vince Van Patten are also doing quite well in their current heat!

Isabelle Mercier is currently under the $10,000 mark, but she's still got enough chips to do some damage!

Remember that the Main Event still has a lot of play left in it. Sean "Sheiky" Sheikhan busted out with pocket queens. His opponent hit trip nines on the flop.
