Satellites Set for Women in Poker Hall of Fame Tournament

The Women In Poker Hall of Fame (WIPHOF) has nominated its first four ladies for induction. Marsha Waggoner, Susie Isaacs, Linda Johnson and Barbara Enright will be honored for their achievements in this great game at a special luncheon in their honor at Binion’s (in Las Vegas) on February 2, 2008.

Immediately following the induction luncheon, there will be a special $560 NLHE Open Event. Satellites for that tournament will be held on Friday February 1st. Single table satellites will take place from 3 – 11 pm with a $75 buy-in for one winner, or a $135 buy-in for two winners. A special super satellite will be featured at 5 pm on the 1st. It’s $75 for all entrants with one seat given away for every ten folks in the event.

The WIPHOF tournament is brought to you by the Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS), CardPlayer magazine, Binion’s and, of course, the Women In Poker Hall of Fame.
