Top Ten Lady Poker Players of 2007

2007 was a great year for women in poker. Woman poker players did great things including taking down a World Series of Poker Main Event. They also won a bracelet in an open event for the first time in three years. One testified in front of Congress, disputing US sanctions on internet gambling. Another played heads-up poker in a WPT main event while heavily pregnant. Then, there was the lady who found time between law school classes to win more than $750,000 at the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event.

These ladies make us proud to be women in poker. We know that 2007 was just the beginning, yes the beginning of the end of the glass ceiling in the game we love so well.
