Just when you think that you've seen it all in the online poker gaming world, a new exciting site like Titan Poker comes out! Titan Poker exploded onto the internet poker scene with a bang, offering 100% cash matches on deposits. This is in addition to its many other exciting promotions and player incentives. The traffic numbers right now are not available - we hope to have them for you soon - but I can sure tell when I logon to play that there are quite a few players who have already heard about Titan Poker. Titan Poker is just starting out - they opened their doors in September 2005. The began by offering the 'cadillac of poker', Texas Hold'em. They also offer Omaha and Omaha 8/b, the hi-lo variant of Omaha Holdem. Hopefully, as Titan continues to grow, they will diversify their game offerings. Regardless, they are off to a great start!

Players can choose from Limit, Pot Limit, No Limit, Turbo,and Heads Up for Texas Holdem, and the same offerings are available (except for No Limit) for the Omahas.  The play for fun option lets you sample the action
before laying your money down! That's always a good thing!

Gameplay
The tables stakes at Titan Poker are very appealing for the beginner since they start at $0.01/$0.02 and go on up to $10/$20.Of course the action is a bit hotter in the tournaments. On the whole, I think that you'll easily find a table that suits your betting requirements.

Soft Competition
Since Titan Poker has such nice 'micro-stakes' tables (starting at $0.01/$0.02) they will tend to attract a lot of new players who want to just start out slow without putting out a lot of cash. That said, I think that there are a lot of seasoned players out there who will come to check out the new game on the block, so you'll find a decent mix of both seasoned players and newbies alike!

Titan offers a decent interface, with your choice of avatars (although they could throw in a few more since none of them 'looked' like me - just kidding!?!). TitanPoker has good sound options, easy to use navigation prompts, and has worked in some cool functions such as the 'find a player' option! That way you can keep in touch with poker buddies. The graphics themselves might seem a bit plain at first glance when you sit down. For me, that's a good thing. Titan's interface is easy on the eyes, unlike some of the other rooms out there! All in all, Titan Poker has solid software and a great user interface! I like it.

Rake

A raked hand occurs at Titan Poker only after the flop has been dealt and the pot has reached $1 or more for pot limit and no limit tables; for limit tables ONLY the pot must reach at least $5 in order for a raked hand to occur.There is no rake for the micro-limit games (less than 0.25/0.50) and in tournament play, so that's really sweet - and unique! Thanks Titan!

Incentives
I have to say that the list of player incentives at Titan Poker is long and impressive! When you sign up, you get a welcome message from an online greeting from one of the support staff. I found that very refreshing!
