Now in their mid-20s, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi was working at the Seminole Casino in North Hollywood, Florida as a poker dealer when he noticed a lovely young lady dealing cards nearby. Aidily “Lily” Elviro took his breath away from the first moment he laid eyes on her. The couple immediately became inseparable. Things were tough when Michael embarked on the poker circuit while Lily was pregnant with their first child back in ’04.

After winning the LA Poker Classic in ’05, The Grinder bought a tour bus so he could travel with his family. Around this time, Michael encouraged Lily to play a WPT satellite, which she won. Lily’s skill at the table didn’t go unnoticed by the WPT. She was invited to play at the Ladies Night tournament in 2005 and made it all the way to heads-up play against Jennifer Tilly while being heavily pregnant with her second child.

In the spring of 2006, Michael and Lily got hitched. Both continue to play the circuit and support each other - on and off the felt.
