This comely couple got hitched after a five-week courtship in 2003. Karina, a former Miss World Nevada contestant – she was named Miss Photogenic in the competition, and her hubby, Chip made history in 2005 at the London Open when they became the first husband and wife team to reach the final table of a $10,000 championship event with more than a 2 million dollar total prize pool. Karina has also finished fourth at the 2003 Ladies Stud Event at the WSOP. She followed that up with another fourth place finish at the 2004 Ladies NLHE Championship, also at the WSOP.
Chip, a former poker dealer, came in second to Howard Lederer at the WPT Party Poker Million II in 2003. He followed that up with two WSOP final tables in ’03 and a final table appearance at the WPT’s Legends of Poker. In ’05, he finished 3rd at the WSOP $5,000 Stud event.
The Jetts have written a he-said/she-said type of column on the game for CardPlayer and are co-owners of Jett Poker Inc, the makers of “Poker’s Most Wanted” collectible playing cards. They have two children and prove the old adage that ‘the family that plays together, stays together.’
