Des Wilson spent some time going into the card rooms and casinos of the world. His mission - to follow the lives and careers of some seriously talented UK players like Donnacha O'Dea, Paul Jackson, Ben Roberts, Lucy Rokach, Dave Colclough and David "Devilfish" Ulliott.
Swimming With the Devilfish is a well-written book. It's part biography, part poker strategy and all first-hand account. Des writes in a conversational style and breathes great life into these poker pros, who many of us think of as a different breed. He shows that they have the same ups and downs, triumphs and tragedies, worries and wonders that we all do.
