October 11, 2007 - Deanna Goodson

Wanna be a Poker Star like Daniel Negreanu? (Credit: WPT)

In 2005 Poker Stars became the first internet poker room to start their very own blog. They understand the challenges we bloggers face day in, day out. It's not easy but it's sure a lot of fun to cover the poker world which is why we do what we do.

The same year they began their blog, the site implemented an annual blogger championship, the World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP). easywind was the first winner, earning a ticket to the PokerStars Carribbean Adventure. In '06 Daleroxxu got his seat in the WSOP Main Event. This year, the site is giving out $40,000 worth of prizes including tournament entries and electronics.

Sweet!
