Here are the basic levels of the Pokerstars' VPP Club. VPPs are similar to Frequent Player Points. Any questions should be directed to support @ pokerstars.com (just remove the spaces). For a full explanation of the VIP club, check out this article!
Once you attain the required number of VPPs in a given month, you immediately begin to receive the benefits of that tier. Tier status lasts until the end of the following calendar month or until you qualify for a higher level. At the end of the month, the monthly VPP counter (shown in the lobby Cashier window) is reset to zero and you begin to qualify again.
Example 1: Anne accumulates 1,500 VPPs between January 1st and January 18th. She will immediately be given SilverStar level rewards. Anne earns another 1,000 VPPs through the end of January. She retains SilverStar through the end of February, and has from February 1st through February 28th to re-qualify for SilverStar (or qualify for a higher level). If she does not earn 1,500 VPPs in February, she returns to the BronzeStar level on March 1st.
Example 2: As in the previous example, Anne earns 1,500 VPPs between January 1st and January 18th, earning SilverStar status. On January 23rd, she reaches 4,000 VPPs and becomes GoldStar. As above, this status lasts through the end of February, during which time she needs to re-qualify for GoldStar (or SilverStar) status or return to the BronzeStar level on March 1st.
