National Poker League Kickoff Approaches

The inaugural UK Open is coming up August 12th, kicking off the brand new National Poker League at London's famous Loose Cannon Club. The NPL 2007 World Circuit Tour, which sounds just a bit like an electrician’s convention, is going to follow up their London kick off with stops in the Philippines, Australia and the United States.

Back to the UK Open; big TV coverage is planned to help get the buzz buzzing about the NPL, so players have a good shot at some face time along with playing poker and winning cash. If you are not a member of the Loose Cannon Club (which I hear is a big disappointment and has nothing to do with shoring up renegade cannons) you can still participate, but you need to register 48 hours in advance.
