Moneymaker Millionaire Finale Set

Chris Moneymaker was an accountant before winning millions in the 2003 Main Event at the World Series of Poker. Since then, Moneymaker has become a PokerStars pro and a superstar in the world of poker. Chris has teamed up with his favorite site, PokerStars, and created a unique freeroll tournament that's going to give away $2.5 million in prizes, the exact amount Chris took home for his win in 2003.

In Round One, which began back in July 2006, every player at Poker Stars got a free pass to a daily qualifier. The top 50 players in that event got a pass into the next round. If you failed on your first attempt, you could buy more entries for 10 Frequent Player Points a pop. You got to Round Two by placing in the top 50 in a Round One event. Each of these tourneys took place on Saturdays at 2:00 pm EST.

Then on the first Sunday of each month starting in August and going through December, Round Three events were held. In August, September and October five seats were awarded to the Moneymaker Millionaire Finale. In November and December six seats were awarded to the same event, which will be played out in the Caribbean in January 2007 when PokerStars hits the Atlantis Resort for its "Caribbean Adventure".

27 PokerStars players are heading to the Bahamas FOR FREE to play it out in the Moneymaker Millionaire. The winner receives $820,000 in cash and a 2007 Aston Martin DB9, or they could take the extra $120,000 in cash in lieu of the car to make their money an even mil. Each of the 27 finalists will receive at least $5,000, as well as that trip to the Bahamas.

You didn't qualify for the Moneymaker Millionaire? That's okay. You can still head to the Bahamas in January as part of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, a WPT event with millions of dollars at stake.
