Starting August 13th, you can take the first steps to poker glory by playing your way into the 2008 Irish Poker Open. The Irish Poker Open is Europe's most historic tournament. In 2008, they're increasing the maximum entrance allotment as well as the prize pool. The peeps at PaddyPowerPoker are adding €1 million to the prize pool.

PaddyPower is running daily Stage 2 satellites for either $4.40 for the rebuy (00:00) or $5.50 for the freezeout (13:00). These feed into the Stage 1 Rebuy at 21:00 ($20 +2 rebuy) or Stage 1 Freezeout ($36 + $4) at 18:00.

The winners of the Stage Two satellites move along to a Super Satellite taking place every second Sunday at 21:00 starting August 26th. There's one Irish Poker Open package available for every $8500 in the prize pool.
