HellKat, time-based Sit & Go tournaments last either 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes and start with a low buy-in, ranging from $3 to $11.
After the final hand has been completed, the top three players will split the tournament prize pool according to the chip count.
There are two types of time-based tournaments: Fixed-length tournaments which end after a specific period of time, and random-length tournaments which may end earlier, by up to 10% of the remaining playing time. All time-based tournaments will end after a complete hand has been played, rather than stopping mid-hand.
