Ladies Championship – High Heels Poker Tour at WSOPC Harrah’s Rincon

The Ladies had their day at the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah’s Rincon on February 3, 2008. The event, which is part of the High Heels Poker Tour, a series seeking to bring women to the next competitive level in the game, drew 91 entrants. With a $200 buy-in, the ladies generated a prize pool of $17,654.

The final nine made bank in the event. The lion’s share of that went to Gigi Dong, a resident of Westminster, California. Dong is no stranger to tournament success. She’s previously cashed at the WSOPC Atlantic City and on the World Poker Tour.
