Shannon Elizabeth Heads Down Under with Mansion Poker

Shannon Elizabeth is one of the most talented and respected celebrities turned pokerati. The lovely lady, who first came to the world’s attention when she portrayed a sexy foreign exchange student in “American Pie”, Elizabeth has gone on to impress the heck out of is with three cashes at the 2006 WSOP and a third-place finish at the 2007 National Heads-Up Championship.
The highly competitive woman, who once contemplated a professional tennis career, is currently in Australia. She arrived Down Under to take part in the 2008 Aussie Millions Main Event. She also unveiled her new sponsorship deal with Mansion Poker. Yes, Shannon Elizabeth is playing under Mansion’s banner.
Unfortunately Shannon didn’t last long in the tournament. Sitting at the tables on Day 1B, the gal was ironically eliminated by one Phil Laak CNC readers know Laak as the beau of another celebrity turned poker pro, Jennifer Tilly.
Of course, we know that we’re bound to see more of the eye-catching Elizabeth on the felt in 2008. She’s already accepted her invite to the 2008 National Heads-Up Championship, and we bet she’ll be at the World Series this summer.
