Poker King Ranks Annette in Top 10 for 2007
December 15, 2007 - Deanna Goodson
Recently, Poker-King.com made a list of the top ten tournament accomplishments for 2007. Despite the fact that there are still two weeks plus and at least three more major tournament events left in the year, the online poker site has come up with an impressive list.
On the list are some seriously wonderful feats such as Tom Schneider’s two WSOP bracelets and a third final table, David Pham’s four tournament wins and eleven final tables this year and Phil Hellmuth’s record-setting eleventh bracelet and six cashes at the 2007 World Series of Poker.
However, the one we’re most impressed with is Poker-King’s number #4 feat – Annette Obrestad’s win at the inaugural World Series of Poker Europe Main Event. She won the tournament one day before her nineteenth birthday. Then, Annette followed that up with a second-place finish at the EPT Dublin about six weeks later.
Annette is the only woman to make Poker-King’s list in 2007. We kinda think that Katja Thater’s Razz bracelet win and her final table finish at the Ladies NLHE Championship at the WSOP was pretty sweet, and how’s about Liz Lieu’s domination at the APPT Macau tournament? The lovely Poker Diva made the final table of both the Main Event and the High Roller competition.
Guess we’ll just have to come up with a list of our own.
