I won my first hand with pocket rockets. I went from 1480 to 3300 with that. Punctuated the win with a set on the river. Had a loose cannon at my table. Went all-in a lot and saw almost every flop. Players dropping like flies. Within the first ten minutes, almost 1/5 of the field was gone.

Fossilman finished in 4152nd place. Moneymaker doubled up with a set. His trip nines beat the threes. Hachem out in 3392. People were so rude to each of the three former champs. The chat was outrageous. I didn't play much 'cuz of my loose cannon. Sticking to being tight so I caught a lot of that chat. Oh man! There's a lot of un-repeatable stuff there.
 
Money800, Moneymaker's moniker, earned a big payday with trip tens. Very nice hand. Told him so, but it probably got lost between the 85 other spammers. A pleasure to watch him play. People kept asking him for money. Oh man, annoying! He called an all-in with a A,Q but split pot with caller...who also held A,Q.

Fast action, limits rose every five minutes. More than Half the field gone only half an hour into the action.

I more than doubled up with pocket eights when I hit a set on the flop and made a full house - eights full of fives on the river. up to almost 7k. Moneymaker at 3697. Money all in. tripled up with ace high. I took down a 4k pot with an A,J of diamonds.

Moneymaker's stack continues to rise. almost 20k.

I finished 841st out of 5000. Went all in under the gun with A,Jo. Lost to QQ when third Q hit on the river (my opponent made a full house).

Moneymaker is falling under $13K now, won't be long . . . . in fact, he finished in 553rd place.

Final Analysis: I played tight and well. Maybe too tight for a turbo tournament. I did well, finishing ahead of 2 WSOP Main Event champs. Of course, I didn't have anyone gunning for me like they did. Luck wasn't on my side when I needed it. Even champs gotta catch lucky cards once in a while. All in all, I'm proud of my play and even prouder that I'm not one of the idiots who typed nasty comments to Raymer, Hachem and Moneymaker.
